Coquille River Lighthouse

Coquille River Lighthouse (43  7’ N, 124  25’ W) (decommissioned) is situated nearly at sea level atop Rackleff Rock across the Coquille River from the town of Bandon.  It is the least isolated of all of Oregon’s lighthouses.  It also has the most unique architectural style, with an elongated octagonal building topped by a low pyramidal roof which is attached to the tower.  This room contained the fog signal apparatus.
