Heceta Head Lighthouse (44  08’ 3” N, 124  07’ 6” W) was built on the southwestern side of a high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and was one of the most isolated locations in the Oregon lighthouse service.  It had its own post office and one-room school.  The keepers were resupplied by ships, called lighthouse tenders, 4 times per year.  Other needed supplies required an overnight trip by wagon to Florence.

Framable poster, 11" x 14.75", sent in a flat box.
